We are a theatre company specializing in youth acting
training. Classes are offered for children, teens, and young
adults who have either professional and/or nonprofessional
performing aspirations. Our commitment to providing
professional-level training encourages our students to explore the
use of imagination, creativity, and
self-confidence! |
Classes... Technical Theatre (Acting): This class covers the entire acting
spectrum, which includes relaxation, improvisation, cold readings,
scene study, monologues, audition technique, public speaking,
sensory exercise, etc . . . Students are placed based on grade and
theatre background. Play & Performance Intro: This is a nonaudition class. Students
perform in a play and learn hands-on play production-rehearsal,
blocking, stage edict, prop usage, stage management, and
performance. Private Lessons: One-on-one training and audition preparation
for high schools, colleges, Broadway, commercials, film, &
television. |
Tracy Dryer Director, Acting Teacher and Coach
Tracy has been teaching, coaching and directing for nearly a decade. She earned her Masters Degree from New York University. In addition, she has spent the last 12 years perfecting her art by training in a wide array of performance areas, which includes Musical Theater, voice-overs, mime, creative play in the arts, speech, physical movement, directing, scene study, acting technique, improvisation, and dance. Many students she has trained have been accepted into the performing arts high schools such as Fiortteo H. LaGuardia, Professional Performing Arts. Talent Unlimited, BOCES, and Frank Sinatra.
Other students have moved onto professional careers in television, film, and Broadway. Their professional credits range from the Broadway production of The Lion King to the Off-Broadway production of American Girls to the feature film Glitter to television appearances on Sesame Street, The Sopranos and Law and Order. |
